How to Send information for Inclusion on This Site or in BTBA E-Z News
This News site is not intended to replace the main BTBA site but instead supplement it by providing a new platform for online news and information for those people who do not want to wait for the monthly “summary” of news that will appear in the e-zine.
It is important to stress that BTBA E-Z News is not intended to be a “glossy” magazine and as editor, presentation and layout will not be my primary concern. My primary objective will be to provide BTBA members with as much information as possible on bowling achievements from ALL levels, from a personal best of 80 to an 800 series. The success of this will depend very much on you (our members) and I can only publish information that I receive, so if you want your achievements and those of your friends and league members to be recognised nationally, then you will need to send me the information.
Any news or achievements that you want to be published on the News website and included within the e-zine should be sent to me by email at

. Please send me the information in text form using MS Word or just include the information within the email. Do not spend time formatting a Word document to make it look pretty as I will always reformat the information when I receive it to fit in the appropriate space available. Wherever possible, please send me a photo (or more if you have them). If photos or other images are embedded within a Word document then please also send them as separate attachments. Photos do NOT need to be high resolution as they will be put online and therefore will be a maximum of 800 x 600. If you have high resolution images then you can send them to me and I will resize them or send me a resized copy and keep the original safe as I may need to ask for it later if I am able to get the mainstream media interested. Please rename all photographs to indicate who is in the photograph (from left to right) – you might know who they are but I probably don't!!
If you intend to send any photographs of Juniors, please ensure that you have parental consent for the image to be published online and in the e-zine.
Once available, a link to each issue of BTBA E-Z News will appear on both in the BTBA News site and also on the main BTBA website.
I look forward to receiving news and achievements from all BTBA members and I truly believe that this emphasises the BTBA's commitment to improving communication with our membership. If you have any feedback or comments about the News site or the e-zine, please write to me using the email address below.
